Who We Are
Process improvement has been ingrained in my professional DNA ever since my early days within the distribution and aerospace industries. It was during those formative years that I recognized the tremendous impact that streamlining processes could have on productivity and cost savings.
I vividly recall a pivotal moment when I overheard the CFO at my first job expressing frustration over the considerable time his staff spent deciphering handwritten notes in order to complete their accounts payable check-runs every week. Driven by my innate problem-solving nature, I approached the CFO and proposed an idea. With his permission, I dedicated an entire week to crafting a comprehensive training manual. The manual ultimately saved an average of 4.5 work hours per week per staff member involved in check runs.
When I transitioned to the aerospace industry as a consultant in the accounts payable department, I had the opportunity to contribute to a significant breakthrough. By designing and implementing a robust reporting system, we were able to uncover process failures within the sales and operations teams, resulting in cost savings exceeding $100,000. This achievement was the result of applying a methodical approach to accounts payable and implementing efficient invoice tracking procedures.
Upon entering the healthcare sector, I initially focused on my role as an Accounts Receivable (A/R) specialist, primarily responsible for posting insurance payments. However, it didn't take long for my natural inclination towards reporting and implementing systematic procedures to take hold. Consequently, I quickly ascended the ranks from A/R Specialist to Finance Manager. In this new capacity, I spearheaded the aggregation of data from cross-functional teams to generate comprehensive company-wide metrics. Simultaneously, I successfully revitalized a failing payroll department through a complete overhaul.
Over time, my unwavering passion for revamping neglected or underperforming business units evolved into a full-fledged career. I became the go-to person for exploring untapped potential and finding innovative solutions across various departments and business functions in different organizations. My meticulous attention to detail and my unyielding pursuit of excellence led to additional consulting opportunities, particularly in software implementation, deployment, and optimization. Through these endeavors, I have been able to save companies millions compared to their competitors during the crucial phase of strategic planning.
Today, I take immense pride in my role as a driving force behind the development of end-to-end revenue cycle management best practices and strategies adopted by some of the leading billing companies in Orange County, CA.
